Lectures
In this lecture we were introduced to golden ratio and rule of thirds, this is important in order to achieve balance in our picture. Golden ratio is a mathematical ratio, this ratio could be found in nature and when it's used in a composition it makes the picture looks natural.

Rule of thirds is a rule where the picture is divided into grids, where this grids intersect is the point in which the subject to be placed.

Reflections
For this task we were required to search for magazines and newspapers, which would be cut out and paste together. Although the contents of the magazine were at random, I find it easy to work with them to create compositions and layouts.
Overall, I really enjoyed composing my collage although it requires a lot of time, precision, and patience to cut out the pieces. This task feels like a great introduction to the module as we were introduce on how to make a composition before making it into a digital one.
Event
