INSTRUCTIONS:

    Design Direction
  1. Create a sketch for your work.

  2. Create a digital poster for your work.

Practical: Self-titled

1. Sketch

After getting some reference I started to draw my sketch. I wanted this sketch to really represent who I am, as it is one of the aim of this task.

2. Digitalization

After that I began the digitalization process. I've already removed the background picture of all the elements and pictures used beforehand to make the process easier to be read. When masking the layers I readjust it by clicking on the mask layer and use the brush tool to create a depth effect on the branches. Attached below is my process on how I edited the tree branches coming out of me.a

Then I began to edit my head and edit the background picture, attached below is the the process on how I did it.

Lastly, I began to do some finishing touches by adding some textures and changing the hue/saturation of the entire picture.

After all that editing, attached below is the final work.

Reflections

In this week I went through a lot of youtube tutorials in order to achieve what I want. I learned a lot on using belevel adjustment located in the blending option of the layer. Not only that I got to reused all the knowledge that I've learned all over again. Because I'm using photoshop again and again I'm starting to gain confidence in my editing skills.

Overall I am really satisfied with how my work turns out. I feel like the final poster greatly reflects on how nature is a part of me and how it can't be taken out of me.
