Lectures
Week 7:
We were briefed on the whole task 3, and were given a spreadsheet to be filled in as a group. This spreadsheet will act as the base of our task 3 as it contains the calendar social media planning, content pillars, and all the things needed to complete task 3's ideation. Make sure to have a visual consistency on all the content made across all designs and platforms. Make sure to deliver the final presentation on week 14.
Week 8-14: No lecture was held. Group consultations only.
Task 3
We started this task by finishing the content planning on the excel
sheet. Shown below is a PDF file of the sheet.
The planning sheet brought together our content ideas, posting dates, platforms, formats, design directions, team responsibilities, deadlines, and production progress. It acted as a roadmap that helped us create consistent Instagram and TikTok assets while keeping the Padini campaign organised from planning to final approval. Shown below is the screen grab of the content calendar and the design tracker which are 2 of the most important things on that sheet.

After that we created a Figma board jam, in which we put out ideas into it. The Figma board jam also contains the mood board, this lets us make sure that we are all consistent in out posts. Shown below is the screenshot of it.

Individual Progress
For this task, we made a total of 12 posts, I was assigned to make A01
and A07 where A07 acts as a continuation of my teammate's A06 post. A01
is the first campaign post, it acts as an introduction to the brand.
Shown below is the initial design of the post.

After consultation the 2nd and 3rd slide was deleted as it's not
that important. Shown below is the changes made.

Then after another consultation, there's a slight change on
the button on the last slide. Shown below is the final post for
A01.

After that I went to begin my A07. I used the footage we shot and
begin editing. Shown below are several shots that was used, taken from the second session of the photo shoot.
I also did several screen recording of me going through PADINI's website, as the main idea of this reel is on how to shop at PADINI's website.
After getting all the footages, I began my editing process in Capcut. Shown below is the screengrab of the process.

Feedback
Week 7:
We were told to organise the campaign content weekly. The 10 pieces of content should be divided into two posts per week to create a consistent posting schedule.
Week 8:
We needed to create a mood board to guide the visual direction and maintain consistency between different group members while still representing Padini’s identity. Because of the limited time we have for the model photoshoot, we were advised to prepare the design layouts first and insert the final photos later.
Week 9:
We were advised to track our progress more carefully by setting clear deadlines for each content visual. All files, assets, and designs also needed to be properly named and organised across our design files and planning platforms. For A01, we needed to strengthen the narrative and make each slide more engaging so that it naturally leads the audience towards the CTA on the final slide.
Week 10:
We needed to ensure that all designs were consistent in terms of colour palette, tone, and minimalist style to better represent Padini. For A03, we were advised to keep both the content and design simple, while some of the icons could be repeated in a sequence for the Instagram Story or Highlight. For A05, the colour tone needed to be more consistent, and the mix-and-match carousel had to be informative and easy to understand by clearly showing the best outfit pairings.
Week 11:
During this week, we were still in the process of carrying out the model photoshoot and preparing the visual assets for the campaign content.
Week 12:
Our designs showed great improvement, especially the video-based content. We were advised to use the Padini logo as a subtle overlay so that it would be visible without becoming distracting. We also needed to ensure that each layout communicated the campaign message clearly and avoided Instagram’s danger zones, such as areas covered by captions, likes, and profile information. For the static posts, we still needed to improve the composition and reduce unnecessary negative space while maintaining the minimalist style.
Week 13:
We were required to arrange all of the completed designs for use across different platforms. The content needed to be placed in an order that clearly followed the campaign’s narrative and key message. We also needed to prepare a clear explanation of this content journey for the final presentation.
Reflections
Experience
This final campaign proposal gave me a chance to explore how the production of a digital fashion catalogue works. One of the main challenges was ensuring that all four group members produced designs that felt consistent and connected as one campaign. We had to communicate regularly through our Whatsapp group and meet ups and comparing our layouts, colours, typography, photography, and graphic elements, back and forth on repeat. We also use model which made the campaign feel more authentic and relevant, although organising the photoshoot and editing required additional time and effort. Overall, this project helped me improve my teamwork.
Observation
Throughout the project, I observed that content planning and brand research are very important parts of digital marketing. By studying Padini’s existing social media content and comparing it with competitors, we identified opportunities to improve its lifestyle storytelling, styling inspiration, customer testimonials, and interactive content. I also learned that posting dates, timing, audience behaviour, and content formats can influence engagement. Although social media algorithms can be unpredictable, having a clear content schedule and customer journey can help each post connect and guide the audience towards the campaign objective.
Findings
One of the main findings from this project was that using only visually attractive content is not enough, a clear purpose and CTA is also needed. Each post should guide the audience to interact, explore styling ideas, visit Padini’s website, or make a purchase. I also learned that research helps make content more relevant and that visual consistency is important, especially in keeping the colour brightness similar across all posts. Overall, this project improved my confidence in combining research, strategy, and creativity.
